Our coaching
The very best coaches from the area.
Expert, experienced and passionate about young cricketers — with a coaching philosophy built around every individual child.

Our coaching philosophy
How we coach.
Six principles that shape every HillRisers session, for every player.
Every child is an individual
We coach the player in front of us. We want every child to understand their own game — not simply copy someone else's technique.
Skills that work under pressure
Technique is practised, then tested in game scenarios, so players learn to use their skills when it matters — not just in the nets.
More touches, more feedback
With a maximum of six players per net and a coach on every net, players get more balls, more turns and more one-to-one feedback.
Enjoyment drives improvement
Ambitious coaching and fun go together. Children who love their cricket practise more, try more and improve faster.
Clear, visible progress
Every player leaves knowing what went well and what to work on next. Players are placed by ability and move up when they're ready.
The whole cricketer
Batting, bowling and fielding in every session — plus decision-making, confidence and the habits that serve young players for life.
